In November 2010 Lactopharma presented an overview of its eight years of innovative research at the International Dairy Federation conference held in Auckland New Zealand at a one day Lactopharma Symposium

Closing the Symposium Dr Jeremy Hill, Group Director Technology & CTO for Fonterra said “Lactopharma has made a remarkable contribution to our knowledge of the beneficial effects of key components in milk and several of these have been taken forward into clinical trials. This work will inform our business for many years to come.”

The research programme has now transferred its research IP to Lactopharma partners, Fonterra and Auckland UniServices as part of the successful conclusion of the joint venture.
